Frequently asked questions
Common questions about pricing, access, and support.
- Is AltBase really free to self-host?
- Yes. You can self-host AltBase at no cost. There are no feature gates, no hidden limits, and no telemetry requirements. The full platform ships in every release.
- How do I get access to the cloud platform?
- AltBase Cloud is currently in alpha with limited slots. Sign up at console.altbasedb.com/dashboard/signup. As slots open up, we send invitation emails in the order people signed up. Due to high demand, there may be a wait.
- Can I use AltBase in production?
- AltBase is currently in alpha. The core APIs work and are tested, but interfaces may change between releases. We recommend evaluating it thoroughly and pinning to a specific version if you ship to production early.
- How do I get support?
- Community support is available through GitHub Issues and GitHub Discussions. File bugs, ask questions, and propose features there. Enterprise support contracts will be offered alongside the managed cloud tier.
